This melody is pretty old, but I still wanted to ask you guys if this melody is worthy of building a complete track from it? (ignore the kick, needs to be a lot tighter)

@Dhamitri: Your melody just seems really random.. maybe it's the saw that's messing me up idk it just sounds kinda off.
@Zine: That first melody isn't really that great. Maybe it's more old school but it doesn't sound good at all.
That second one is a lot better. Reminds me of a more 2011 style track
@Bas: Really energetic melody! Maybe it's just me but the EQing seems really off.. Has a lot of potential though

@basT91 great melody..you have to change some notes just to not be repetitive after some seconds but it's really good. reminds me 2010 feeling

@andez good melody and lead used! try to compress pull up the volume just to increase the power of the sound

Andez - Reminds me a lot of Frontliner! Very good.. In terms of EQ maybe lower the highs just a little bit.. There's also a slight ringing.. idk what daw you use but in FL studio on your lead's mixer track make a Parametric EQ 2 insert and and 5 or 4 and make it super skinny so it's at 0%. then move it all the way to the top and move it left and right until you find the ringing then lower it all the way.

@GamerZoneUSA the upper notes work but the bass notes need to be changed I think, goodeffort though

this one is unorthodox, made in another style for fun (not serious), wonder if you think it works or not

@Andez: Great start, you should work on the progression of the kick, also the melody needs more variables and such. Lead needs a bit of more work, but otherwise a great start!

@Gamerzone: The melody sounds like some psalmverse in my ears, the kick is half a semitone off, but the kick has a really nice sub.

@Leeroy: Very interesting, I do like the kickprogression. If you change the lead to something more like a screech, it would sound amazing. Please continue on that one!

Well, the notes are in some wierd scale. Try playing around with them to get that harmonious tone.
