@Synthese - The melody is pretty nice, the 2nd melo before 2nd break kinda is repetitive, you could stay that way or change the arrangement but not making it random. the character of the kick could brought up some more imo. Overall its nice track
The kick is currently in the making, until the kick is okay and fit, this is gonna stay this way. and might change the melo to make it not sounded random.Frontliner kick alert, you have been warned. Please dont hate me![]()
just for fun only, will replace it with my own kick later.

Everything should be in key especially the first 50 seconds or so. Everything is F#

=) hi hardstate,
I just made a new melody and new synths and would love it if you comment on it.

Maybe give some feedback first before you ask for any.Archtitans wrote:=) hi hardstate,

@gamerzoneUSA
so if you listen to the track it doesnt feel weird to you ? like a piano or guitar thats out of tune and needs to be ''tuned'' again,
cause if you dont hear that yourself i suggest going to the local earshop and do some tests.
otherwise there are some tonal tests online you can do to determine if you actually can hear the difference between pitches.
also another thing,
you should better stop giving processing advice to people, youre actually not helping anyone with phrases like : Eq This Eq That,
if you dont hear the difference between frequencyz how can you know what frequency to boost or take out ?... how do you know things needs equalizing ?
(i dont say i know everything cause i dont) but just giving some random advice just cause you have to give feedback... rather ask for things like how to equalize properly etc etc.
you say everything is on f# ? i can tell you for sure that thats not the case,
My advice would be to learn the ''notes'' and how they sound like, another advice try to learn some synthesis like in how does the synth youre using actualy work, in that way (if you know the synth) you know what settings make the thing out tune.
But yeah when i change some setting i can immediatly tell if its out of tune. even when i started producing i heard such things in instance thats why i would recommend going to the local earshop to test youre hearing cause i think there is more going on.
i dont want to be mean or anything. and if i could help you i really would.
but again : test youre tonal capabilities.
ps.
in key doesnt mean it all has to be on 1 note, it means that there are several notes that fit in the scale of the melody or beat youre making. and if youre using notes in that scale than those are in key. there is also ''harmonics'' like if you have F. and you put a C above that will create some harmonics if you put an A between it will create another Harmonic. with every note there are other notes that together with it make a harmony Thats In ''KEY"'
you also have shit like the ''Tonic'' i really recommend reading on such topics cause maybe it will give you some better understanding of notes and how they work together It helped me out great.
just googling : ''Music Theory'' Can really help.
last thing :
i dont know wich DAW youre using but in studio one ( what i use ) i have got things like a ''tuner'' such things can give you some insight in what note the sound is playing. also with basic frequency knowledge you can use ''Spectrum Analyzers" to learn youre sound''s and if they miss the right harmonics etc. you can even find the note the sound is playing with an analyzer (with basic frequency knowledge).

@Greentech: Sounds great, work on your mixdown and some more reverb to the lead. I find the kick pattern kinda boring, try maybe playing around a bit with the notes in different pitches, to keep it interesting
@Dhamiri: Great sound, more sidechaining to the get the pump up and more reverb to fill up the sound!
@archtitans: Kick lacks a bit of punch and sub, try to get some of it up by layering in some, Lead needs a lot more reverb! You are out to a great start and Welcome.
So been working on this a while now, had a break from this track as well as Vienzo. A bit tad undermastered but it gives the general vibe:

I want to buy this
0:31 made me all tingly
I think the lead fade out @ 2:40 is a bit strong (quick) and the change @ 2:52 felt a bit rough (does the melody change key?), if it built up to it a bit more it wouldn't hit the ear weird if you know what i mean?
If you wanna pm me when the song is finished that'd be cool cause im never on sound cloud, like at all.

@greentechnnl, wow! really strange (in a good way
)
@Synthese, your kick is too low, some good ideas btw, nice screech pattern, really love the atmosphere
@NRx Hardstyle, Strong bass, love it and nice melody, can't really say more
Here is my first remix
