@akachaostheory cool idea. nice sounding kick and playful screech ;)

@Chaze - your track is great (you're dutch, what to expect) nothing to say about it :D
@akachaostheory - it sounds really experimental to me, but it's nice, maybe pump up some of the sounds in the qlimax/anti (not the kick)
@SoulofSound - It's awesome, the kick is not perfect though, and you could add something before the anti , imo I don't like having a "quiet then drop" drop (i hope you know what I mean) :)

Don't bother with the synths/guitar, I just want feedback on the kick, I'm really unsure about it
Raw kicks should sound like spitting something furiously followed by the sound of dogs barking

Post it in the Kick feedback topic then, not here.

hardcore section is dead and will probably stay that way so i'll just leave this here unless the mods tell me i can't

@Holder
i think it has too much treble and not enough mid. it also would sound much better if it pitched along with the melody, but you said not to bother with it so i'm guessing that was intentional. it's a decent raw kick though, it just sounds a bit weird with the lead and melody you used

@soulofsound
the melody is nice and everything seems pretty well-made except for the kick which sounds really weird. consider adding a bit of distortion and/or mid (~300-600Hz) to the tail to give it more character. the mixdown is great. keep it up

@akachaostheory
the kick is amazing and the synth is really interesting. like soulofsound said, some reverb would be nice. that's all i have to say since there isn't much else to your clip

here's some unfinished crossbreed-ish drop i made in about an hour

I didn't remove it. Here's the link: https://soundcloud.com/hellraisermusic/ ... -preview-1

I think you should eq the vocals a bit, and I don't really like the pluckish synth starting at 0:52. The reverse bass and the kick are really nice though.

typhonmusic yeah will workon that it is still not done but i agree with the vocals. right now it is so hard to fix it because of its random volumes and frequencys.

your dnb sounds like a hardcore drop in my ears, and i think its awsome. :)

@Typhonmusic
I love it! Crossbreed never was the thing for me, but i get why it is for some people. Since i'm not really into that i cant judge on a profound basis, i just can say that i really like it. But technically spoken, you need to work on your mix. Everything is clipping. Your snareroll at 6 secs has too much reverb for me. Cant say anything more cause its way too short. ;)

@Higgarn
Nice reverse bass you got there. Other than typhon i think the plucky synth fits quite well there. Vocals are still way too much in the background.. give a nice atmosphere to it but they are just not understandable. The mainscreech seems a bit thin, like you've cut it at 500-600 hz or something. They need more midfrequencies i guess. Nice idea with your background screech behind your mainscreech, it makes the track full.
Your lengths are a bit uncommon though. 3x16 bars for mixing intro and then the drop with no short break. Never really heard this kind of intro, you got with the flow with 2x16 bars or 4x16 bars and then drop it into the reversebass. Do what you want ofc, I'm just telling you what i notice :) and i miss a bit of a maintheme in your track. I know its just the midintros, but when you have a maintheme after your midintros, put some elements of your theme into your midintros too for an affiliation in your track between your parts.
Feedback on a high level though, nice job.

@Holder
So the mainproblem for me to judge your kick is actually your mix... The synth takes up so much room i cant tell the details in your kick (which you should fix ;) ) the things i can hear is that your kick has a nice character in the tail, the punch has no power though. Maybe try to layer your punch with others (how to make punches is actually pretty easy just look it up on youtube). Overall the kick seems really muddy. EQ is your way to go there. Cant tell you how to EQ it unfortunately cause it differs from kick to kick.
And you should look up some synth tutorials too. ;)

Ok a new track is born. What do you think?

Neko Yes you are right i cutted of around 500hz from the mainscreech didnt even notice it till now. I realy dont know how i will make the theme because i have no melody or pads putted in yet so its hard for me to give it the right feel to it when i dont know what kind of theme im going for. And i have no idea how to make the vocal come forward more like you said it is in the backround. So right now im looking for a melody to fit ive created like 14 melodys already but not a single one of them fits. I will fix the small parts in the track not change that much untill i know how i will continue but thanks for the feedback!

For your track the only thing i could say is the screech that needs to be lowerd like a notch sounds like it has alot highs around mid and high area. But the overall track sounded great and proffesional. Have you tried to sidechain your main kick so it gets this bouncyness sometimes ? try it might sound better or worse so you only need to remove the sidechaining :) You got all the things already putted in your track that i could think of. keep it up.
