At first I was thinking that it was too happy for hardstyle , but then I found the melody very cool!

It would be even better if you repeated the melody but changed some notes in the second part! kudos! Nice first post

Sounds pretty good, a strong theme in the melody with some nice variations.

Nice, but it seems like the melody might jump up and down a bit too much -- maybe try staying to a closer pattern across bars or steadily progress as the melody continues?

It seems really random, if you're going to arpeggiate notes like that you need to make sure that all the transitions sound natural, there are a couple notes that really aren't too pleasing.


Here is the track I'm working on right now, it has a pretty anthem-y feel to it, but I'm not sure whether I'm attributing that to the actual melody or that it might be a bit too random.
I'm basically seeing if my melody is 'hardstyle'-y enough.

@five-map exactly what soundphase said - It needs more work. Maybe try to hold the some notes longer instead of continously going up and down on the same notes for 3-4 bars?

I made it go in a proggression. from where i started the melody and then how it transformed. tell me what to do with it!

@izkliegt - like the feeling man, but the top layer lead is too loud it could hurt my ear imo, try to lower a bit.
@soundphase - i can feel the magical theme running around the melody. nice work

This one I made quick yesterday, i just put 1 layer of Sylenth1 for main melo and 1 Sylenth1 saw lead as basslines

hard to judge with that synth. I think with a decent lead it could be really cool! I suggest you to continue working on it. but take care of the sound design
