Spot on guys, Camelcrusher filter only can select LowPass Filter. There is no option for any other filters. What should I do in this case? (since some people have given the advice to play with the filters when trying to shape and mould my sound of the kick).
Also another question, is if I'm only using CamelCrusher as my only distortion but using multiple instances of it. What should I only be using? Should I only have the 'Distortion', 'Master' activated? And do not use Compressor and Filter.
Distortion - Does anyone get the same problem?

My advice to you would be to acquire CamelPhat, because then you have much more control over the filter type (see the BandPassFat in the filter section) and the distortion unit inside it. CamelCrusher tends to be a bit limiting imo...

True that CamelPhat does have more control and options. Though Camelcrusher is a neat little simple plugin, just wondering how to work with it since it doesn't have the options as other plugins. Also curious how Toneshifterz manage to use it with just Camelcrusher on it's own. Anyone know how to use it please help answer my question.
Thanks.
Thanks.
hi, I'm not really sure why you are leaning towards using camelcrusher as kick distortion but you only need to use the distortion on it, nothing else. You can use the compressor to be creative and sometimes get an interesting result but you don't need to. the purpose of a distortion plugin is simple - to distort. you want other plugins for other purposes.
For ex. you can use camelcrusher to gain the output with distortion and then use a seperate lowpass filter afterwards.
