It's not like a major difference but there is a difference

But why does this:
Sound different than this:
They're both the same lead
It's just the notes. The first one has lots of lower notes playing in the background, so it makes the whole thing sound more full, which is the only difference I noticed.

So you think if you make the same lead it will all sound the same no matter what notes you input? That is literally like saying all piano compositions sound the same. :omg:

No, I just said that's the only difference in the sound of the lead. I know that the melodies are different, don't worry :+

Was just curious what you would use or recommend for pipe organ leads.

Most of the key-type leads I've made before lean much more towards piano sounding than organ and I'm not quite sure where to go from there.

kontakt, even its basic factory library has some nice patches.

also, its not a difficult sound blueprint to synthesise really, playing around with sine waves in chords is already a close start. With a pipe organ, each pipe is basically producing a sine tone. the rest of the sound is shaped by the detuning between the individual pipes and the reflections both inside the pipe and in the room, i guess anyway.

Hey guys, i've been producing for a couple of years but on later days i've noticed my screeches sound so mono compared to others. I put stereo on 100% and I play with some paning automutation(spelling??) but I just dont get that wide sound! And it really bothers me, all tips are welcome to help me out, cheers.

puuh lots of way so crank it up. Delay, sample L/R with one side being mil-sek shorter, chorus can do small wonders aswell. Thats what I can think of atm :)
