Vocal Flashback/Reverb effect question

Post by MiniJeep »

Hello there. I watched this forum often but today I decided to sign up, because I need help with some vocals :D
I want to achieve this kind of effect like in this track at ~ 0:19. It's kind of a reverb reverse effect. I tried to reverse and put a reverb on it but it doesnt sound like that.
I use the Defqon Austrailia Vocal Kit btw (so it's quite similar to these vocals).
Have you any suggestions how this is made? Would be awesome.
Thanks :)

Try applying a very bright verb to the vocals and automating its volume.

You can do this super easy with Logic's Space designer:

choose a medium sized preset, press reverse button and play around with the the wet parameter.

I hope I could help you :)

I used this probably the same method just using less verb or low cutting it

Don't use reverse options in plugins (!)

Take the vocal or whatever you want to effect, reverse it in your audio editor, apply a heavy long reverb, bounce it. Then reverse the effected audio.

This sounds to me like a reverse reverb + very short delay time, or am I wrong? :?
