About best plugin/synthesizer...didnt Jack of Sound make the sounds of the track Machine with recording a washingmachine

A kick can be made? yes. Will it sound good? No, not always. Each distortion generates different characteristics and harmonics and reacts to the phase differently. That comment is as retarded as saying all EQ's sound the same.
