thanks Audiofreq, that's quite an encouraging post because i know a select group of people like my tracks, but those tracks are different from the rest of the scene, while a labelmanager does think it's good enough. It's a bizarre confusion

that sounds pretty weird actually

-edit-

or, well maybe weird is not the right word. rather, demotivating. if you think about it, that sentence means that the crowd decides what should be out there, not the producer. for a dj (jukebox) that would make a bit of sense though
Sure, the crowd decides what's good or not, but it's the djs/producers that decide what the crowd gets to hear. Everything that is commercial now was once new and unknown anyways. Following the hype with your own spin or just do whatever you feel like doing (or even a bit of both...) is a choice you have to make yourself.

Thank you veru much guys for youre answers! Big Up Audiofreq =D
Actually what i did till now is to focus on my producing and musical skills. But i totally forgot about the audience :yawn:

Right now i made for my self an action plan how to move on, and it a mix of idias how to atracked more people and how to produce a better music ^^

@audiofreq
Send the music to friends and your local DJs
Well, unfortunatly i am living in Israel, and here hardstyle\hardcore is like country music in Russia, NON hh
My friends actually dont like this style, and the only way to promote my self is the web =D
But i am not giving UP!

If you're from Israel, contact Apex Mind. He is from Israel I think, he might be able to help you out with the local scene, feedback in Hebrew etc :)
I'm grumpier than you.

Do people even read these?

@SCH
I know him) Right now he moved to other scene, industrial. He really helped me with mixdown stuff and teached me alot about sound quality.
I think he and his friends tried to promote hardstyle in Israel a lot of times, and well, it just didnt worked out :/
Now there are a small group of people, like 150 that listening to this music.
There was one guy, Maly, he produced really nice hardstyle, been on Blutonium Boys label and stuff, but when he tried to preforme here it was a total bamer for him, couse there was maybe 7-10 people that was dancing on the dance flor, every one else was like "what da hell is that"...

that man Maly deserved so much more. I really like his work and even asked him for a b-day bash of mine in the past, which was also a great set.
It's sad how demotivating it can be when the country has very little interest in a kind of music

Another awsome question!
I saw that Most Wanted Dj looking for young talents, but one of they demands is a musical degree.
So my question is - Every agency demands a musical degree? Maybe some one have an expirience with working in an agency?
