Help! How to be booked? Or be an agency recident?

Post by Sanchuk »

Hey guys, got a little problem here.
Till now i thought that all i need is to be publish on some nice knowing label and from there it will be an easier to get to the top, but now i realized that what i really need is an agency that can let me work on some events and stuff.
So my question is, how to get there? Is there any book agency that i can talk to? Or maybe somebody know some other way to contact this guys?

I will be really great full for some help ;D

You need to have a sellable/marketable quality, which usually comes from a number of things like being on a well established, popular label, lots fans who want to see you perform etc

Just make good music, and wait...wait..wait..and..wait..and..wait again..and then BAM! you booked!
i think you don't need agency or famous label, because if your tracks is in a good level, the promoters will contact you for sure!
Just read what phuture noize replied to me,when i asked this sort of thing

I think can help this! :) Don't give up and keep it up!

Making quality music is a marketable asset. You need to have a more pragmatic view on the scene. Unless labels can profit from you, you won't be signed.
I'm grumpier than you.

Do people even read these?

in other words: you need to become a product, not a passionate producer/dj, even if you start out like that.

More of a brand than a product. Most serious up and coming producers do this without even knowing anyway, creating logos, artwork for fb/twitter, youtube. You are promoting your brand. Its how to pitch your brand to labels/agents that sets you above the rest, as well as having marketable properties and of course being a half decent producer/musician always helps too!

Working on your marketing does not mean you should stop being a passionate producer/dj. Moreover, I think if you're a passionate producer/dj your marketing should go on automatic pilot by spreading your enthusiasm :)
