@Dj Reaper: The screech sounds decent I guess, nothing special though and IMO it sounds a bit too hollow / too distorted but then again that's a matter of taste and I'm not a fan of these howly distorted and hollow 'raw' screeches. Idk, I'd probably try to get a clearer sound out of it by reducing the distortion a bit and also reducing unison voice amount + correcting the EQ'ing or something. I also think that it sounds a bit too harsh on higher pitches but that again is just a matter of taste.

@Aftershoq: Nice screech but again I don't like it just because it's not my cup of tea taste-wise. And I don't have any experience about making hollow screeches like these but I'd think that it's quite difficult to get a 'solid' body for such sound because of the massive distortion and so on and by solid I mean that it has some but not too much low-end + is nearly as powerful @ around the ~1000Hz area as in the higher frequencies but that again depends on the sound and so on I guess...

I'm a bit rusty currently when it comes to producing because I just had like a 1,5month break from it so I decided to just sit down and design some new sounds and this is one of the screeches I made. Nothing special though but decided to post it here anyways. :P I was aiming for a screech similar to some of The R3belz's screeches.

@ Dj Reaper, the screech sounds a bit empty, but it's headed in the right direction. Try adding reverb to it.
I made quite a lot of screeches, so please excuse the long post:

(mid-outro & second half of mid-intro)

You're capable of better feedback than that.
I'm grumpier than you.

Do people even read these?

can't give feeback to above (link expired)

I was dextrously designing sounds in FM8 and creating new algorithms, mainly focusing on formant sounds. I made a lot more sounds than what's in the clip.. I'm going to upload all the presets for you for free soon. The sounds don't use external mixer effects
