His leads are excellent, so if he claims that a lead is shit it is also highly likely that the lead truly is shit. Sorry, but reality should always come first when it comes to giving another producer feedback.

What do you mean by 'peak'? Limit them? Create really high-q boosts? In any case, it's really not hard to try it yourself and see if it destroys the sound.

@ljk32 I meant peaking with an eq, like u do on kicks. Tested it out and sounded a bit weird.

Hey, id like to make a lead like Da Tweekaz, theres no tutorials and id really enjoy putting it in my track. Its like a pitch bended square saw sound, at best made in sylenth 1.
