Oh come on. You can't make an opening post like you did, call people that dress a certain way cloners, make an argument that the radio tells people what to listen to and then call all people proving you wrong "trolls", without ever even so much as countering their arguments.

AAAANYWAY since someone asked me how long i've been listening to HS:
A bit over 8 yrs... unclear exactly when I started drooling over it, somewhere when Deepack was rolling, Donkeyrollers, Yoji Biomehanika etc.

Aaaand, I like house as well. Just not the kind we hear on the radio. And I loved Tiesto before he went house, same goes for Axwell when he was trancy:er.

Great, looks like we started at about the same time. Namely when melodic Hardstyle was on the rise. It got a lot more attention from that point and the style grew immensly. A lot of the people that had been listening to it since the start were basically saying what you're saying about commercial bigroom house

edit: I actually really like the bassy deep house Ten Walls and Friend Within are doing amazing things, Oliver Heldens has a couple of interesting tracks that blend in with other house genres as well. Gecko, to me, is really cool
Bakermat, being a student, probably is really busy combining music with studies atm. Since Deep House is currently so big in Eastern Europe, and he's basically the one that got the ball rolling for the big audiences, I'm guessing he's a much wanted artist over there.

Actually I don't think the track is all that bad, its kind of got that oldschool vibe from the early 90's... with a terrible kick.

And I found that out pretty well when I tried to mashup it with another song. Melody starts somewhere in the middle of the score apparently........

Plus all that buzzing portamento shizz is really annoying to hear. Especially when ALL DJ's PLAY THIS HOURS LONG.
It gets worse when they start throwing the benny benassi sounds around.

but to be fair, I did once listen to house. like 10 years ago. I loved listening to Stonebridge for example. Not sure if anyone knows him, he made deep-house back then. I also love downtempo, which is pretty close related in a way

You didn't insult anyone directly but implied that people who likes mainstream house are bot real house fans - that is quite insulting to the house fans here, since basically everyone on a music board like this one are die hards in one way or another.
