Searching for Trance (?) track out of FM8 preset.

Hey guys, I was messing around with FM8 yesterday and I came across an automated melody out of one of the presets. It is the 'Muted Guitar' preset.

I know I know the melody, and I'm relatively sure it's a typical vocal trance track, with a smooth female vox possibly saying something along the lines of "I've never thought of drifting away" before the melody kicks in. I've been looking for it for a couple hours now, and this is bugging me incredibly.

I've tried Shazaming and Soundhounding it, at different note heights as I'm not 100% sure it's on the right key atm. All to no avail. I really want to find it so I can let it go :P

This rings half a bell...
But as far as I'm concerned They don't put riffs in presets, do they?

I'd say it sounds more like a old poptrack.

You'd be amazed at what they put in presets and packs :P I just made a 1 bar note to go over the presets, and then it started doing this melody as long as the note was held. It is actually an arpeggiator effect on the plugin itself, but a rather intrinsicate one, I suppose :)

dude you right, this is a trance track but i can't remember the name too :'(
or maybe i heard this midi in another plugin or sample pack :/?
plz stop destroying house track with hardstyle kick edit

Woo! Look no further, I finally got it after following a gutfeeling and looking up "matt" in my library. Turns out I couldn't find it under Trance as it's labeled as Progressive House :facepalm:

Now to figure out which of them was first... :P

Edit: can't believe I was so off on the vox and pitch though, sheesh :\

lol u got it but i don't recognize this track. Mb this melo is used in another version? :/
or maybe i also made this melo, it's a easy and not so original midi :p

Considering the track is from December 2012, I'm guessing the preset existed before the Matt Fax track. So it's entirely possible it was used in other tracks as well. I'm a 100% sure this was the track I recognized it from though, I'm not sure I've ever heard it anywhere else. Good luck finding it though :)
