Is it though? Because I think panning stuff adds extra gimmicks to your track which make it diverse and nice sounding, but those aren't essential when it comes to archieve a clean mixdown.
Panning for my understanding rather belongs to the chapter sounddesign which I didn't wanted to touch in this tut ;)

The more percussion you use, the more panning is needed to achieve a clean mixdown. But since most hardstyle today doesn't use mor then a clap in the intro and a snare every now and then it's jot super important.
I'm grumpier than you.

Do people even read these?

True.

In my opinion panning has nothing to do with sounddesign. Why would it? Panning is basicly placing your sound in the stereo image, not making it.

I see we can argue about that but I will let it go just because I probably am not the one to write a tut about it since, as I said above, I am not the best when it comes to stereo imaging :D so you're probably right about this haha :D
On the other hand, I would love to learn sth about it do you guys know some tut regarding panning for hardstyle (I think house / trance will be sth very different on this topic right)?

Mixing in general could be used for any style of music. :)
So i guess a basic tutorial would do, even tho not everything wil work out like they will say because of the kicks taking alot of space in the mix. Steinberg Mixing tutorial has a chapter explaining imaging with some great tips and tricks. Really worth the look. ;)
