Hard With Style
Re: Headhunterz presents: Hard With Style
I just think HOO-EY is the most annoying track this year. horrible vocals and it's just a kicktest for a reverse bass. shit shit shit

hehe and i shake my head when i see comments on youtube that say "headhunterz, awsome tracklist", or "The music is changing people"

I prefer a changing style than a dead style. A style that doesn't move forward is a dead style.hardstyleprem1um wrote:SoulDistortion wrote:With every new HARDwithSTYLE episode something in me dies.

I like change also, but my idea of change in hardstyle is: 1: New and never heard sounds (WOW-factor)
2: New creative way to produce a track (not following the same structure but at the same time keeping it hard)
PS: I guess everyone here remembered when NC came along and brought fresh new sounds in the genre (as well as Michel Pollen made back in the days to keep the genre fresh.
But now and some years now, producers are spitting out new track so fast that it seems like they are in a rush to produce new tracks and lack any inspirating they had befor. Just my opinion ofc

I prefer a unique style to a house/trap styleTritta wrote:I prefer a changing style than a dead style. A style that doesn't move forward is a dead style.hardstyleprem1um wrote:SoulDistortion wrote:With every new HARDwithSTYLE episode something in me dies.

This statement exactly. I don't mind the change. But sometimes it just seems just so uninspired and very house like. BVRN is a sped up house track with a big room kick basicallyNeutronic wrote:I prefer a unique style to a house/trap styleTritta wrote:I prefer a changing style than a dead style. Im not hating on them moving on doing other things, I just dont find it to be as unique as they claim it to be. I like it but its not very special imo
I don't mind when producers mix styles as Hardstyle is originally a melting pot of different styles. It's fresh and really nice to listen to, and it's not like every producer was doing the same thing, it's just Crystal Lake's or HHZ' styleGamerZoneUSA wrote:This statement exactly. well, not really. DJ Isaac started all this with his remix of Animals, then it was heavily promoted by Technoboy and Tuneboy, and now Audiofreq seems to do it from time to time. and I'm pretty sure I've forgotten somebody. so no, it's not something exclusive to HWS records. to me it's more like a plague of current hardstyle.Tritta wrote:it's just Crystal Lake's or HHZ' style
