It'd be a wise idea to know what you're doing before making a tutorial. Not sure whether you were trying to get close to the original or not(I assume you were since you went for the varying LFO modulation over time), but it doesn't sound right in either case. It's not an awful result, but it wouldn't hold up very well in a track, even with heavy eqing.

Well i know what i am doing. if i wanted to replicate the sound i could but i didn't go for it. and yes you're right about the LFO. why wouldn't it hold in a track?

I think knowing what you're doing includes getting satisfactory results, rather than just having a 'know-how' about sound design, especially considering this is a tutorial. In terms of the sound itself, it isn't too bad, but it's just not that great as a lead synth. Although many leads can be very basic and work the way they are, I think in this case the simplicity of the lead is not doing it justice. I can't tell you the exact reason as to why it wouldn't fit in a track, but I can assure you that it wouldn't. If you heard it under a mix, you'd be able hear that it lacks.

Although the video is removed im pretty sure this belongs in the tutorial section :)

Also, could you perhaps upload the video again? I like seeing different techniques :+
