Why is it always assumed that I'm cranky? And at what point was I a dick? I feel it's a waste of time trying to justify my actions to you so you don't have a cry, but here goes. The guy who commented made absolutely no addition to the topic - OP was looking for some sort of tune detector and the comment said something along the lines of, "I'm sure there's one for Cubase." Not only is it the most useless comment on its own, but to top it off the question had already been answered in the past.

If you are always assumed to be cranky, well maybe you are. Or at least appear to be. Like i said before, i understand why you are saying some of your stuff but that doesn't make it right. :)

Well I couldn't care less whether you think it's right or wrong.

ljk what is your goal with telling him to stfu? To stop him bumping threads because it annoys you? How about getting your head out of your own arse and just ignore the bumps. Hes not really hurting anyone and as Aftershoq pointed out, sometimes people actually use the search function to find an answer to their questions and sometimes a valid point is added in a bump. If you are so endlessly annoyed by people who bump post just go and add them to your ignore list. Simple as that.
