I would recommend to buy it IF you already have some skills in creating your Sound Design.
It won't help you if you have awesome equipment but can't produce well without it yet.

Massive, Spire & Discovery are completely capable of replicating the quality of hardware. You don't need a Virus TI to make big sounds.
I get better results with the virus ti!
More fun at producing...
You can Check my soundcloud page, i made a virus Lead Demo a while ago.

Coincidentally, the current top thread of harderstate seems to answer your question.

As someone who owns a TI (Or a snow, to be more exact), I can tell you that I kinda regret buying it. Mostly because it sucks with FL Studio though
Sylenth works equally as good for me imo, but obviously the Virus has more capability for more complex sounds.

FL sucks, not the virus
No problems in any DAW, only in FL

I've a ti and a virus c, yea they are fun to use, but you can get big results from vsts too. If you can't, having a virus will not make it easier. Workman and tools etcPavilon wrote:I get better results with the virus ti!

sorry for this question, i know research could help too, but as there is this thread already, may I ask you which special features it has the sylenth (or more of it´s instances) doesn´t have? I know for PWM but are there some others you can name on flight?
