Is this a synth or a sample?

Post by Dgrptr »

In mike nrg "lost in dreams" tat & zat remix at 1:11
It hits the first time. It's very pan flute sounding . I've also
Heard this in other electronic genres. Any idea what this
Is?

It is really great that you didn't include a sample so you could show exactly which sound you are refering too :)

Well,

I'm brand new to this forum and I described the sound
And the song and the exact time that it hits. I was hoping someone had the song or would quickly search it to help
Me out. Im not trying to be negative but I'm here for help
Not to be the brunt of sarcasm. Thanks.

Okay, well then that is your loss then. I don't have the song and I'm not going to go out of my way to pirate it. However, I could have used a youtube video identifying the sound you are looking for, but unfortunately all the videos seem to have a different length, so 1:11 could mean anything.

So, as I said, your loss then. I could have been done by now and helped you but unfortunately you were too lazy to just provide a youtube link with an embeded time stamp :)

I'm guessing he means the lead @ 2:19? :)

That sounds likely. And this is just exactly why he should have given us a sample with a timestamp.. so much for '1:11' lol.

It's a synthesized sound for those wondering. As for that other sound Bluemind linked, also synthesized.

It is. It could be layered with something that isnt though :) Zatox does that from time to time :)

It is at 1:13 in the video posted above . It sounds sort of like a synthesized flute .... If anyone knows what this is or
Can pinpoint it it would be a great help.

It also hits for a second at 2:12. Right before the filtering down into the lead synth break.
