As a massive hardcore fan I am dissapointed that MOH has included a raw hardstyle stage in 2014. Yes, I like my hardstyle, but MOH has been around for almost 20 years (2015 will be the 20th anniversary). They rose from the ashes of the underground, a time when hardcore/gabber was declining in Holland. in the late 90s. They helped the hardcore resurrection in the early 00's. And for them to put a raw hardstyle stage... is just a spit in the face to the real gabbers and hardcore junkies. Yes, Dominator has had a hardstyle stage for a while, but looking back, Dominator was created with Q-Dance, Thunderdome and MOH combined, and they've had a a hard house/hardstyle stage (Houseqlassics) from the very beginning.
I thought MOH would've taken over the mantle that Thunderdome left and by staying true to they're statement - WE ARE HARDCORE. I guess money took the better of MOH and Art of Dance. Hardstyle does not belong... period.

Im sooo excited for this!! Last big event for me was defqon 2011, didnt need earplugs then because it was outdoor, but on some other small clubnights I've had that beeping noise for a while afterwards and in the morning after.
How intense do you think the sound will be compared to an outdoor event? I could stand in the front of a stage at defqon without a problem, but maybe not at MoH without plugs right?
I have never used earplugs. And i've been to Qlimax and hardbass and some other events. But as i'm getting older i think i will go for earplugs this time. At least have them with me.pitchan wrote:How intense do you think the sound will be compared to an outdoor event?
