What easier to make Hardcore or Hardstyle?

I've a always hardstyle but many people my style is closer to hardcore. I'm only good at making sad and creep melo's and many kicks I make sound like Hardcore. when in fact I'm trying to make hardstyle.

.....WTF is wrong with your English? :?

OT: Forget about whichever one is "easier to make", focus on the one you enjoy more.

I just had to ask because I'm kinda stuck with creating the punch on kicks. My kick for some odd reason sound closer to hardcore kicks. Checkout my latest attempt - https://soundcloud.com/hypersurge/is-th ... rdstyle-or

So because you can't make a kick, you'll move to Hardcore? Yeah, forget about making what you love, just go with what's easier. In the end, who cares right? You've clearly gotten into production for the right reasons if you're considering changing genres solely because you lack skill and experience.

Tbh your kick doesn't even come close to a good hardcore kick. Neither to a good hardstyle kick. :)

You still have a long path to walk before you'll be satisfied with what your producing. Just keep practicing the style you love and don't focus on what's easy.

Like the post above, when reading your first post it's like your in it for the wrong reasons. Make music 'cause you love doing it, not for fame or money.

to stay on topic i think that NONE is easier both styles have their typical "elements" wich are hard to master and gain skill in it, you cant really COMPARE both in the view of making the music because you have to focus on different parts of the music, years ago i started with hardcore / industrial to produce but after i listened alot to hardstyle and really gained an emotion and passion for hardstyle i moved to that scene ( my best choice in this for sure ! ) ... so as mentioned before DONT really DONT change your mind of wich style you want to produce just because you lack in skill, as long as you have ideas you can achieve the skills ( just work and try hard ! ) ideas and the feeling are things you just NEED in your mind, skill or just technical stuff is a thing of learning !

Produce music with your hearth, make what you love. Don't care about a genre.
