Imagine building a guitar and then tuning it and then playing it. That's what electronic music is.

Well just got back from qontinent. Last year that was my first ever live hard dance event and i had a amazing time. Last year i was there for headHunterz,NoiseControllers, ECT

This year it was Igneon System, DeathMachine, Hellsystem and Anime that rocked it. Over the last year my taste has changed a amazing amount which is insane to think.

Crossbread, Hardcore and Industrial :fist: :fist:

Because it's gone very shit. Even worse than before. The decline since 07 is amazing(in a bad way).

I'm not against artists experimenting but all we see in the release section are names of house dj's! Hardstyle artists remixing their crap and the outcome is pathetic. That's the mainstream.

Then we have 'raw' hardstyle. I will never accept that shit. These are the tracks that are now called 'raw'. They ALL reach a certain level of 'hard' and it doesn't go beyond that point. Why? Maybe because the artists won't get to play on the big parties/'raw' stages because otherwise their tracks might be too hard? I think this is the reason. I'm sad to see some of my favourite producers like Thera & Delete making not so hard tracks now(raw) but ok, there are a few still making pretty hard stuff. It's crazy that there is Hard Dance & Hard Trance music way harder than the rawstyle getting talked about? Does anyone care about that or is it just me? Do any of the artists care about that?

It's not just hardcore for me as I'm really into schranz aswell. I won't ever love the genres as much as Hardstyle though but they do give me now what hardstyle doesn't which is..... Hard music.

Anyway, not trying to cause trouble, thought this would be a nice topic to get things off my chest without causing a shitstorm. Hope you all love & care about your music as much as me

I know that Q dance don't really dig the hard trance/ hard dance sound anymore. That formula has been done to death for 10 years + and they are into newer/more obscure stuff now (ie. Qult sound is their equivalent of hard dance.)

But don't let it get you down. All you can do is push the music you like. The more you push it, the more people will get exposed to it and make their own mind up if they dig it.

Maybe hard trance yeah, but hard dance/ tech is kind of reinvented, having a fresh twist again and i hope it will be bigger again soon :p
