Hi,
I am currently working on a dark/raw hardstyle track. I made the intro, midintro, break, climax, second break, second climax and it all sound very good.
Now I have to make the outro but what could I do istead of just copy and paste the midintro? In my last track I just used a reverse bass in the midintro and a dong-kick in the outro and changed the screech pattern a bit and I was fine, but in this kind of song I make now a reverse bass fits nowhere and I don´t feel like changing the screech.
Does someone have sggestions on what I can do? I´ll try to vary the kick fills a bit but I fear that´s not enough to not make it boring..

A different Melodie/screech outro maybe use the same synth but a complete other midi...
Thank you for the advice...will be a bit complicated as the screech from the intro is still stuck in my head and I don´t want to varate it too much, so that it still sounds proportionated

You could try to put very short parts of the screech pattern in the outro for 32 bars, and then just play the kick (+percussion maybe) for 32 bars. Thats something I tried some days ago and it sounded nice

Well the problem there would be that i have the full screech sound in the intro and when I have only part in the outro the intro would sound fuller and that would lead to missproportion. I don't know how I usally do, I sometimes add more percussion with every 4 or 8 bars or so and at the end I have huge energy and than I keep claps and stuff to go to the end. And last time I also added an extra sound and changed te screech pattern a bit but I feel in this song it doesn't work the easily..

Well, the outro should be a "stopper" for me, the song can't build up more and more energy and then just end.
No, it shouldn´t build up but like give another hit, which refers to the intro and than when the melody/screech quit you have just a kick going on and than you substract elements until the end.
