Meccano Twins & Art of Fighters - Tales of 150 BPM [Traxtorm]

Post by NEKA »

Label: Traxtorm Records
Catalog Number: TRAX0114
Release Date: out soon :+
Format: Vinyl 12" & Digital
Source: http://www.sonicsolution.it/music/590/m ... at-150-bpm

Tracklist:
01. Meccano Twins & Art of Fighters - Electrogod
02. Meccano Twins & Art of Fighters - The Dark Universe
03. Meccano Twins & Art of Fighters - Out of Control

Samples:

This EP isn't excatly for me, for few simple reason: it tries TOO MUCH. Out of Control is awesome though.

Honestly, I don't understand anymore AoF anymore. Around 2010-2011 they used to make their best tracks with really mainstreamish sound etc. but nowadays, lending what Cristian said:

"How many times did you listened to a track and said “it’s ok, but it sound like they lose inspiration”.. well, it’s true, it happen when you focus just on the technical part and not on the vibe and feelings."

This is what happened to AoF imo. They stated around the end of 2011, that hardcore is too simple, and lacks sound design and soul, and that no-one doesn't sound unique. They were right, but what they decided after that: let's make tracks which are more towards a small audience and more old-skool flavored." I thought it was a good thing, but what happened: they became TOO HIPSTER. They try too much to sound different, that all their tracks and collabs are dominated by Cristian's sound design. Back in the days there was a difference between MT and AoF tracks, nowadays they all sound the same. Uninspired.

Get your shit together...

I didn't listened to the tracks yet but I jave to agree that there is no big difference between the tracks as MT or AoF anymore ... but I thought that already 2 years ago, for me their best tracks are from the period 2007-2009

Yep i agree, nowadays there's unfortunalety no big difference between MT and AOF tracks anymore... anyway these tracks are nothing extraordinary but nice. :) Electrogod is my fav so far. :)

Another thing: Traxtorm must change their rlz policy asap! o_O There are already 4 other Traxtorm releases which are waiting for a rlz and with the current rlz policy i've expect this to be released somewhere around summer next year :+

I gotta agree on the change of AOF, not the same anymore.. Their 2007 album and Nirvana Of Noise is one my favorite hardcore! :)
Though I have nothing against experimenting, I enjoy my hardcore FAST haha, fulfilling the stereotype :p

Gamma Release EP, Pain & Fear release were the last good ones I can come tot think of, since then AOF/MT have become truly boring. He/They/whatever used to be up there with Promo in my eyes...
I'm grumpier than you.

Do people even read these?

It's raw hardstyle with hardcore kick, what's cool about that? Sounds bad imo.

This is far away from being Hardstyle. This simply is straight Hardcore with a lower BPM. Hardcore has nothing to do with speed at all.
