I don't see the point of this thread :, He is complaining about the artists in the top 100 on Beatport yet most of the recommendations are artists from the top 100 lol.

80% of Beatports Top 100 is filled with track from the Progressive House & Electro genre, so I don't think most of the artists we named are in this top 100 ;-)

Hardstyle was really the first EDM genre I felt passionate about following and have only expanded a little since then. I see most people mentioning house/electro/trance they like in contrast to tracks of the same genre that are in the top 100. For me I just don't seem to like anything under those genres. I can tell when a track is well produced and appreciate it but wouldn't willingly listen to it.

I guess I'm just stuck within hard genres at the moment. Went from just hardstyle and hardcore to also enjoying tek, breakcore, frenchcore, industrial, hard trance, and crossbreed. Most of which don't come close to a top 100 spot.
