Q dance is going to be touring in America

In fact most americans prefer reverse bass, high energy dance music.. not the clap a long pop remixes that dominate todays hardstyle sound. Hardstyle has a draw of between 1,000 to 10,000 people in many cities. Why do numbers matter? Quality > Quantity. American hardstyle crowds LOVE the music, they arent there just cause its "hip".

the smaller cities thing makes sense, the US is a big fucking country, so they could get away with having 12 small club events, hell they had 3 in AUS in 2008 for the first events here.

What kinekt says is true. The guys who I showed Hardstyle to preferred harder and more aggressive sounding, and even some old non-cheese Jumpstyle.
I also highly doubt two of the same event in one country, that's just stupid. It's like Belgium having one Tomorrowland in the north and one Tomorrowland in the south. The amount of people who like the poppy shit is staggering, howeverjust because they're more vocal doesn't mean they represent a majority in terms of Hardstyle.
I'm speaking strictly on Hardstyle before anyone decides to bring House in the argument.

I wouldnt compare belgium to america, belgium is the size of 1 state lol. Electric Daisy Carnival takes place in 5-6 cities in america, so why would it be so weird for q-dance to do the same? not everyone travels across the u.s. to attend a festival, so offering the same experience in different cities is just a way to broaden the festival brand name. Sensation white is doing the same thing this year bringing 1 festival name to several different cities. I think anything is possible.

I hope hardstyle artists realize americans like it a bit different and bring us more reverse bass and more hard driving kicks. I was at q-dance stage at edc 2012 for all 3 days for every single minute. Multiple times they would cut out the mixer volume to get the crowd to sing a long and it was the most awkward silence every time. Then after excessive dongs someone finally played a high energy reverse bass and you could just hear the crowd erupt in a roar of WHOOOOOOOOO's and FUCKYEAAAAAAAAAAAAAA's. Every single time.

Of course not, but size doesnt not really matter. Insomanic has created the basscon event series but the size of the events are not massive. There's also identity festival. I don't think any of us can predict 100% correctly what they plan to do cause anything could happen. In the states it is more common to have a common festival/event name that takes place in many cities compared to euro/australia. My guess is they might create a new event name that is like a touring event.

Ill be honest. Im not excited. Shit gets fucked in america. I wanna see hardstyle live, but i also dont want to at the same time because most big name producer/dj's all sound the same with da dongs. Which i'm betting they would only bring the big names. Plus most of those producers can't mix for shit imo. I don't wanna go to a show and hear 3 or 4 climaxes in a row. Boring. /end rant.

This is good exposure for q-dance and hardstyle and all that jazz. I just dont think that its gonna work out too well.

I dont say that dutch hs isn´t commercial nowadays , but if you look at the aftermovies and videos on youtube , you can see that the stage is packed with people when headhunterz , coone ,noisecontrollers are playing , those people are playing exact the style with cheesy melodys an soft kick you said the most americans don´t like , and if there are some artists playing the raw - harder stuff , they are going away , where are the people on the endymion show ? there where maby 700 -800 people left ,... and if you read my comment it says , there are some true harstyle lover ( wich i include you , cause you know what you are talking about ) an yeah maby there are in some citys 1000- 10000 people who listen to hardstyle but it isnt that hard to find that amount of people in citys where 4.000.000 + are living in . and yeah you are also right hs nowadays is commercial but only if you like the big names, but there are enough artist left who are playing really hard music without all the shit vocals and soft kick.
