Memorable songs that give you chills (Orchestral/Instrumental)

Post by Reverse Ghost »

A new topic just for us to share our favorite tracks that involve only, or mostly, orchestral elements or are purely instrumental, specifically songs that hold a special place in your heart, represent a time of your life, or just plain give you chills. Hell, even give us a story of one of the tracks!
I'll start with three of my personal favorites

I remember listening to Hymne when I was 10 or 11 (Hidden track on the Shivers Album, hard to believe that album released when I was only 8) and I dozed off when it started, and I had the weirdest but most imaginative "dream" I've had at the time.
Spoiler
They don't have to be all Trance :)

this instrumental piece always gives me chills

it has been used in Watchmen movie (that's how it discovered it btw), and this whole montage: the music, the faint voice of Dr Manhattan telling his story, and even the story itself of a mere mortal man transformed into god against his will... wow, it gives me shivers every time
also, this piece here is different from the one in the actual OST of Watchmen, but i like it more that way, it's just more minimalistic

Imagine building a guitar and then tuning it and then playing it. That's what electronic music is.
