Why did thunderdome end?

Im new here so im very sorry if this has been talked about before so i used the serch tool and nothing came up.

So why did Thunderdome end? It looks like the crowds still enjoyed it aswell as the artists.

and also "the final exam" was in a school sort of theme so do you think there might be a chance of "Thunderdome Reunion"??

ID&T probably want to focus on their more mainstream parties and go world wide with them. That's what I think at least.

"The Final Exam" was the name of the first Thunderdome party back in '92 if I remember correctly, that's why the last party also had the same name.

I'm still crying myself to sleep every now and then, thinking back on the last Thunderdome

Only did Thunderdome 2009 but what a hell of a party missed 2010 and of course the last edition ever i could blame me forever Thunderdome was really the pure essence of Hardcore music don't know if a lot of edition were sold out but to show you how popular it was, the "final exam" was Sold Out with about 30-40'000 party people how can such a successfull and legendary party be stopped ?? Can't understant this by ID&T, even if they are more focusing on shitty electro-house music, they could gave the project to q-dance which is a daughter brand of ID&T

actually, Q-Dance did organize the TD-parties the last few years
