The video is funny enough, not my taste though..
This kind of music really worries me, because this doesn't make any sense to me or to 90% of us European/Australians/American people, but the radios seem to play it anyway, because it's catchy. It's like the instrumental focus is coming back to pop music, which seems like a good thing to me, because I enjoy hearing people being really good at something, but this isn't that hard to make honestly. So in my opinion it's really bad vocal and instrumental vise, and that's just a horrible direction for the mainstream music scene, because then they'll end up singing things that makes less sense that the lyrics today does, while some cheesy uninspired house music plays along.
I might just be too dramatic, but I don't know if this stuff happened in the 80s, 90s or 00s, because obviously everything we listen to (we being the mainstream crowd) on the radio for example, from that time, has been filtered so maybe there's a huge pile of crappy music that just went past me in the last 10 years because I was too young or something. Am I overreacting, or is mainstream music just turning into shit?

EDIT: Funny that every time I think of things like this, it's 2.30 AM
