Starting with an old classic~

(L) That low droning at the beginning always gives me chills.

It seems we're the only members on the forum that seem to like Trance as much as we do :+
And yes, Madagascar itself is a great track _O_ made even better with that ambient mix.
A newer track I've fallen in love with (both the original and Mark Sherry's Argentinean Sun Remix) would have to be this one. The entire album is damn impressive imo, and is an essential in any Trance collector's library. I mean hell, even the /mu/ (music) board on 4chan recommends Group Therapy as one of the greatest Trance albums. Coming from a place that's as snobby and picky as /mu/, it's impressive to be on the same list as Age Of Love _O_

Their last album, I did download it, but provided I get a better job soon, I might buy it, the special edition if there is a special edition. I buy music that's worth listening to :)
Also, I didn't know Tiesto made tunes like this? :O it reminds me so heavily of Armin's style around the time Shivers was released!
Also, not really to do with Trance, but I did mention Chillout and Ambient in the title

Flying Lotus is just amazing (L) he and Kode9 are two of my favorite experimental artists so far. Not to mention listening to tracks like this is perfect for these hot humid nights, it's pretty much like Summer right now.
Converting f to c, it's about 20.5556 c right now, and is 1:31am :fist: first thunderstorm of the year later tonight!

don't you guys think you're the only trance-heads on this board? my first love in EDM is trance. it happened back in 1998 tho, so things that resonate my taste are pretty different from what trance is like nowadays. nonetheless, I still have some trance vinyls from my beginner-DJ days :p
and when it comes to chill trance and that sort of things... I'd recommend you to listen to these two mixes (if you ever happen to lay your hands on them, since I got them on CDs somewhere):
Deeper Shades Of Euphoria http://www.discogs.com/Jay-Burnett-Deep ... ase/167513
perfect 2CD mix from Jay Burnett. lots of classic trance hits in various mixes, chill-out versions of classic trance hits and absolutely incredible transitions _O_
World Of Ambient http://www.discogs.com/Jay-Burnett-Worl ... se/1920385
also by Jay Burnett, but it's more chilled, almost no trance in there. and I doubt you'll ever lay your hands on that one, since it was released in Russia. maybe someone ripped it tho, try searching rutracker.org or something like that. nonetheless, this CD introduced me to this magnificent masterpiece:
Brennan Heart wrote:It's called hardstyle for good reason. It's hard and it's style
aw yiss! My new shiny facebook page!

Imagine building a guitar and then tuning it and then playing it. That's what electronic music is.
