Re: [21/06/2013] Defqon.1 Festival [NL]
It all depends on the departure point, like a train journey. The further you are from the destination the more expensive it is.
Example:
£160 Leeds
£150 Luton
£140 Maidstone
Then we can add additional stops in between, like Nottingham for £155
As I said, The package itself includes:
- Luxury Coach Travel (Leather Seats, Kitchen, Plug Sockets etc)
- Standard Event Ticket
- Soft Drinks
- Snacks

That's incredibly in-expensive. I'm in Scotland so I would obviously have to travel down to England to join you if this was our last option. Are you aware of any groups who tour from Scotland?GolGotha wrote:It all depends on the departure point, like a train journey. The further you are from the destination the more expensive it is.

Thankyou. We do our best to keep the tours as cheap as possible.
Actually, we did have a group of people come down from Scotland for our Qlimax tour last year.

Otherwise the cost keeps rising! I was looking at a ferry honestly becuase it's abotu 1h drive from me and normally around 70£. But the best bit is that you don't have to worry about how much you bring.
you will definately be able to camp into monday. defqon, qontinant, decibel are all the same from experiance. u go to the final night and after that days festival or afterparty (in this case sundays festival day) you will go back to camping and leave the following morning normally before 12pm. so in this case you will have to leave before 12pm monday.
IGNORE ABOVE I JUST SEEN IT'S ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED

as for spending, take a shit load more if your going full weekend trust me. or to save money, get a ferry and drive over like i do and stack your car with lots of spirits/beer like i do and then before the preparty and every morning when you wake up from camping to begin a new day go to the car and top your self up then go back to the event. or else you will spend a shit load. for me and my girfriend we spend £1000 in total for a full weekend of q-dance. that of course includes your tickets and transport/fuel partying ect. another tip is leave a disposable bbq in car with some food.theres your breakfast sorted each morning! you can of course take one into camping as well if you wanted. get a water proof tent ffs!! last 2 years camping areas was flooded along with tents. i got a decnt one this year cus theres nothing worse than your sleeping bag being soaked through and wake up in the middle of the night freeeeeeeeeeeeezing and wet and starving and dieing and needing a shit.

1000£ are you serious!! you must have gone all out and bought everything! When i went to qontinent excluding travel and tickets i spent around 160€ is my guess.. then again we lived off warm beer and cherios

A grand would be a good measure for 2 people, 500 each is about right after your ticket, Train, all your drink (which you kind of need to sneak in) then snacks for your tent (Cheetos, Frosties and HariboPivotphone wrote:1000£ are you serious!! you must have gone all out and bought everything! A good tent is essential remember and try and look for flat ground to put your tent being close to the festival doesnt matter as much as your tent being flooded after a downpour
well last year was about 150 (total £300) each for tickets (roughly im guessing here) we had flights last year at about £120 each (£240) car rental £60 for weekend own fuel £30 from airport and back, buying booze and food before defqon we done another £100 for the weekend which is easliy done after a few litres of spirits and beer and food. i forgot what parking cost for the weekend but lets just call it £10. it may be more but not sure. so before we bagan to spend in the festival for two people that costs £740 before we began. which leaves just £260 to spend for 2 of us for the whole weekend so truley you need slighlty more unless u can get ur plane costs down or ferry prices ect.
so £1000 easily adds up trust me. i always say if you go to a weekend festival over seas from uk your looking at roughly 1k for 2 people per an event. it's a dear hobby but it has to be done!!!!
out of the 10 events i been if i had choice of having the money or the experiance i would defo say the EXPERIANCE!!! for now anyway lol.
EDIT* i forgot to mention the fuel it costs to get to the airport and pay for parking at the airport (UK side) which for me personally is £80 for both parking and fuel.

I spent about 300 euros inside the party, including a bit of merch and a shitload of beer. Incl accommodation, spending, hiring a car and other party things I think the whole weekend was about 800 euros
