He's so fucking talented. It's almost ridiculous. Makes gold out of everything he touches, imo.

At this rate, artists will have to put disclaimers in tracks when they decide to experiment outside of their usual genre just to stop fans going suicidal.
I like the track for what it is, but it just feels a bit confused. Maybe Bas is on to something but we'll just have to wait and see. Either way, top marks for trying something different.

I'll just quote myself from the comments to express the way I feel about that.
I'll put it this way. Noisecontrollers are, like Picasso, artists(some people will hate me for this) Music is art, and art is a way of expressing yourself. Now whenever Picasso painted something in a different style compared to his other work, did he change his name? Nah. So why should NC?

for me this track is really weak and not looking on it from 'hard noisecontrollers style' side (and telling that they made this track for money and other shitstuff like this) but from 'Oskam production skill' side which i can't hear so well here, i can agree that sound design is really nice but it is next house/electro/electrohouse track that will evanesce in mass of this kind of tracks that are released nowadays
this track is for me too generic as someone said earlier in thread

Imagine building a guitar and then tuning it and then playing it. That's what electronic music is.
