For me, intros are definitley harder to make. I usually make the climax first and them I'm left with an intro to compose which I find extremely difficult to do, especially after the main part of the track is already finished.

Well, i'm currently working on a track together with Hardwear, and since our intro is fucking sick and hard (imo).. We need ourselves an even harder climax.. Which is very tricky to make since it's got to have a hook, be hard and good.. We've been struggling on it for at least 7 hours now, and we still don't know what we're going to do with it..
But normally it definitely has to do with what i'm busy with. 1 day the climax comes more easy, and other days the intro.. But right now, it's definitely the climax! :P

Nothing is hard if you practice, your weaknesses. The thing is that its not hard but you tend to get stuck what I mean with that you tend to be stuck is that you must have been taking soo much time eq'ing and adding effects...This is wrong structuring the track is the most important matter first you structure the fundamentals then you do the mixing part then mastering. This is why many producers actually find it hard to utilize their potentials.

You can make an amazing climax if you know the music theory really well, you can make a sick intro if you know how to design the proper sounds at the beginning the sounds you make aren't perfect this is very normal....at the mix down adding effects your sounds is the key to reach a sort of perfection and personal satisfaction.

Remember:
Its not about perfection....Perfection comes later don't focus on the quality first focus on it on later basis.

this is true, i think i'm better at climaxes beceause i'm musically educated...took many theory classes, but when it comes to sound design, pfff im useless. thats why i can't make good intros.
