General sound production
Sooo, I started listening to Hardstyle a while ago, and I loved it so much I wanted to start producing! I took piano lessons for like 8 years about, so I know a some music theory, chord structure, scales, stuff related to that, What I struggle with is: When I make music, it sounds boring, and it doesn't ever really sound like hardstyle..If that makes sense....I just wanna be better at creating sounds that SOUND like hardstyle, and the structure of a hardstyle song too, obviously it doesn't have to be that way, but I do need some help! If you want a sample of what my music sounds like, click the link below for a sample of a song I started, that I would like to finish....(Keep in mind it will be empty towards the end.....)

Don't worry, you'll get better with experience. The music theory knowledge is a nice plus, though. You should take the time to learn about synthesis, and look around the Producers board here on Harderstate; I'm sure most of us will be able to help you if you have any questions.
