Does nyone have a long 909 kick. Like frontliner had in his tutorial, but longer and no bass in it?
Get yourself Drumazon or EKS-9 alter the length and lowcut it? :-D
i once saw this specific 909 long kick that was good. I think it was "Noisecontrollers long 909" and now i lost it and that is what i'm seeking for

I'd trust the quality of a 909 emulation from EKS-9 or drumazon over some random 909 wav file you find on the net.
I was using a 909 sample I found in a pack for months until I realized it had this tiny amount of static in it that became very obvious after being overdriven and distorted a dozen times.

So that's where your nickname's about?Statical wrote:I'd trust the quality of a 909 emulation from EKS-9 or drumazon over some random 909 wav file you find on the net.

actually that can be because of the type of distortion you're using, some distortions can add static since the algorithms are not top notchStatical wrote:I was using a 909 sample I found in a pack for months until I realized it had this tiny amount of static in it that became very obvious after being overdriven and distorted a dozen times.
for example, buzz effect - white noise clip distortion has one distortiona algorithm which sounds really nice but adds an annoying static sound around 1000hz
there's no problem with the basic "clip" algorithm in it though
