Of course it depends from inspiration, sometimes its few hours if I got awesome feelings and ideas for the track and sometimes it takes months if I stuck with idea or simply do not feel it much for now.
For sure important is to not put yourself to one project only :)

It depends what your measuring it by. You might spend months on getting the kick, but not long on other stuff.

Assuming that you have a kick, melody, and a general idea on what you want to do, then it could take a week or so, depending on the track. This means making the leads, putting it all together and making other sounds etc.

it's not like cooking a dinner or something, you don't just get it done, a track is done when everything fits together, you can come back to a track after a couple of months and add to it, eventually it just gets completed, or else it doesn't
