OP - I'm so sorry for hijacking your topic.

So getting back on track, I think its terribly selfish to say 'I need exposure' and then seeking to get it by collaborating with a known artist. Exposure will come to you when you make quality music. If something is good quality, people will pick it up, pass it around and then stuff will come to you. A year is not a very long time when it comes to making music, I don't care what anyone says. I've been doing it for just over 13 years and I still think I have a long way to go.

Don't expect people to fawn over you because you think you have potential because everyone has potential, and thats not enough. What matters is what you have done and what you can show now, not what you think you can do or want to do. Show the world what you got and what you can bring to the table, and people will meet you where you are at.

about this: I had less than 1 year of experience And after sending my demo's to DWX they told me I can join them if my quality improves, now its 3 months later, but I'm not statified yet, they also told me: when the quality is good enough I'm in!

this shows you that you can enter a bigger label even with less experience....

PS.: I also got some releases under record labels atm maybe this is the reason but still
