No more TATW :(

Post by DjPractice »

As some of you know, Above & Beyond do a weekly trance radio show called Trance Around the World (TATW) - similar sort of thing to Armin's A State of Trance (ASOT)

Anyway, they are having their 450th episode live in Bangalore, India next week and unfortunately, the guys have announced it is their last edition of TATW.

Apparently, there may be a new radio show they are doing but not entirely sure. I kinda get the feeling that A&B might be slowing up a bit

Check their FB for details: https://www.facebook.com/aboveandbeyond and the most recent edition of TATW (ep 449) http://bit.ly/TATW449 when they advise the show will be no more

For the die hard trance/progressive fans out there, what do you make of this??? While I didn't listen to many TATW episodes, I have always followed A&B (and the Anjunabeats label) since 2002 and I just hope they don't wind up everything (also, would be good if they played a bit more trance on the show and not house!!)

I've only recently discovered their awesome podcast and channel through Chris Agnelli and I have fallen in love with the Anjunabeats style. This is horrible news imo. I truly hope that they will continue with something else because I really adore their music. :( Sad story, mate :(

FUUUUUUUUU ! I really love their style and their choices of music in TATW, more than in ASOT. This is really a shame ! Discovered so many great tunes with this podcast...

Sad news indeed, Tawt and asot are the only way i'm staying in touch with current trance and like Matt said it helped me find so may great producers and tracks. I did prefer the proggier tawt over asot

@Vicious: You should check out Enhanced Sessions, another great weekly trance podcast.

I agree that it's sad, always loved the podcast.

Above & Beyond
Today we're incredibly excited to announce the launch of our new weekly radio show: Group Therapy Radio.

It wasn't an easy decision to say goodbye to TATW. Episode 449 was full of memories that have shaped our journey as artists and we've been blown away by all your messages. But Group Therapy has somehow evolved to sum up everything we do. It captures the relationship between us, our music and you, our audience, and the magic that happens when those three things interact. It's something you've all taken into your hearts and it lies at the centre of everything that we do - the community, the connection, the interaction.

Our radio show is our weekly Group Therapy session with all of you. Thank you for being part of our journey so far and for joining us as we start this next chapter.
Soooo its essentially a rebranding of TATW or what? :?
