Love to see him twisting all the knobs the whole time when every channel fader is at the bottom. :+

Great show nevertheless!

when you mentioned this i paid atention and you are right! i find this quite funny and at the same part a bit ironic when i remember the twitter post from heady about zatox having fake fans or youtube subscribers...

But what does fake fans have to do with fake knob twisting? I think there is a huge difference

Fake fans = Bots, they are not human, just profiles

knob twisting on a mixer chanel that's volume fader is down is just imitating that you EQ the channel while you are not doing that in reality at the time.

Fake fans and knob twisting on a fader without sound is indeed different, but i specificly mean faking something as an action itself. In both cases its just trying to pretend about something that is not real.

Why i mentioned fake fans, is that heady mentioned other dj having fake fans on twitter (like pretending to be saint or something) while he is faking his dj set (well from that video you can clearly see that).

But im focusing on heady's action towards zatox some time ago and now this came to the youtube.

I just find that funny :)

Well this is typical nowadays, especially when it's an intro show or the endshow of an event.

I find it bullshit, there's no way you can see things in detail and I close the EQ on the low ends of the next track with the fader all the way down as well. Also, at events DJs usually play at +5db or higher, making the sound limit itself. A bit of EQ might fix this and I think DJs like headhunterz are experienced enough to be able to do this without headphones or smth...

You clearly didnt played with Pioneer DJM800/900 if you cannot see all volume faders are down. And if they are down it says enough because the volume has to come from somewhere, clearly its not coming from the Deck A/B/C or D :)

and check the video at 2:37 in wich you can see faders down :)

Anyhow, as John Cove said, its typical, overal its typycal to EDM scene in general :)

probably he was putting knobs back to initial position, preparing to mix. anyway at moment like this you are so pumped up and excited you don't even know where to put yourself and it happens naturally.. I think theres nothing to be ashamed of :)
