Hardcore vocal samples?

Post by Elektronikz »

I hear a lot of fast Hardcore tracks, (probably about 200+ BPM) and they have those distorted, angry sounding, vocals that seem to be sampled from a metal song, or some kind of speech. I want to find some vocals like that, but I don't know where to begin.

Scream into the mic, use very fast delay, etc.

Most hardcore vocals are sampled from rap songs

Finding voice samples is easy.
Think of some movies/games/shows that you like, and pick out a phrase or two from one that fits the style of song you are shooting for. News broadcasts and speeches might also be a good place to look if you want to incorporate some sort of message into the track.
