How to make the hard vocals, which sound harsh, low and very synth-like?

Imagine building a guitar and then tuning it and then playing it. That's what electronic music is.

You can play with making more channels of a single vocal sample, and you down-pitch one, and leave the other one untouched. You will get an interesting effect.
