balancing reverse bass

No kick topics, no exceptions.
For kick-related stuff use the topics in the red text above.

hey, i am trying to make a hardstyle track :D , which will have reverse bass in the intros. so far the reverse bass sounds awesome, but when I try to add some effects with massive, and some screeches, it doesn't balance properly and sounds bad like a crackling noise. I've tried turning down my headset volume - made no difference. i have tried turning down the reverse bass sound, but it didnt make a difference. the kick balances fine, but it didn't make much difference, and i want people to be able to hear the bass, as well as the fx and screeches. does anyone have any ideas about what i could do differently? also btw i tried turning down the fx and screeches and the crackling noise didn't stop unless the fx were so low volume that you couldn't hear them.

Post the track so far with all the effects and I'll see what's wrong.

Sample it, maybe your CPU cant handle all the stuff at once, or try using ASIO
