I have done this in the same way procyon suggested I think 

Sweet! i was looking for something like this for a while actually.. I never thought about just using reverb and reversing it..
Was messing around with timestretching etc, but i never got it the way i wanted it to

in cubase 5 there is a new fx plugin that does it automatically

Would save us a lot of trouble with bouncing/experimenting.
