@The Gearboxx: As dastylerz said kinda hard to judge the quality and sound of the kick, but the distortion seems to be there at least. Maybe upload a new example with just the kick?

@DaStylerz: Kick is nice :) Reverse could use more crunchy high frequencies but thats just my taste

Got inspired by Chris One's Sin City and hard driver's screech tutorial :D
Prolly my roughest kick to date

@Aliner You need a better punch, play around with it, compress it etc, the tail sounds good tho.

@Ntrax You need a better punch aswell, replace it or compress it

@Kamikazi :\ distort it more, sounds horrible at the moment.

Behold.

@seit that punch isn't sounding right, it sounds like a ping pong ball hitting a table, way to short.. maybe you have the attack too low on the compressor or something, i remember your older kicks had better punch?
The bass is decent but a little muddy in the low mids

punches are not easy (imo) and i'm always open to some tips about which way to create them

@Aliner pitching sounds good, punch could be a little louder though
@Seit Sounds good mate
@Vol-E Not sure about the lower notes :s. They kinda sound a little off. The crunch sounds good on the higher note though

Just something i came up with this morning, kick isn't finished, will most likely change the punch as well. Excuse the terrible mixdown too

@ Aliner. Your attack needs more punch, but your tail is good
@Vol-E, you need to work a lot on it. Maybe if you compress and add some eq's, your low notes will sound more clearer.
@Stuart, you are on the good way. Your attack and tail are good. It just needs eq's and lil' bit more distortion 'till it sounds good. I think you work on it for several weeks, you will get it.

We worked on this kick for a month:

@Stuart: like DirtyBrotherz said: bit more distortion and better eqing

@DirtyBrotherz: Nice punch and crunch, but the tail isnt my type. imo theres a strange pitching in the bass :?

here is my kick again with a better punch and a pitch-test in the end

@freakwave, sounds like ur punch/tok is pitching with the kick or something, definitely put some work into your punches.
@DirtyBrotherz Tok is too quiet/ not enough presence, great job on the tail its very good if anything maybe eq some mid/highs.
@Stuart on lowest pitch the kick does not sound great, eqing on that low note that sounds weird may help

My Latest Kick made on a drunken Friday night :P screech was made in 5 mins just to cover up kick so no one rips :P

@koplandr You got a nice dong in there, just needs some crunch and a better punch imo.

Tried to create a rawstyle kick, made with MicroTonic
