Perfect algorythm to change song tempo?

Post by Bluemind »

Hey, got a little question :p
When I make bootlegs (often from house), when I want to set the tempo to 150, everything is okay, but the huge problem is the algorythm of FL, they're really bad for this, and the song losses all it's power.
Here's an example with an old bootleg from me:
Spoiler
The original song seems to be in bad quality, even if it's the 320 kbps version.
Now just listen the Spitfire bootleg by Endymion, the song didn't loses it's quality. o_o
Spoiler
How did they do that? :o

You can choose your resampling algorithm in FL
There are 5 of them if I remember correctly

How are you stretching the sample? Pro transient or pro default work best for the timestretching options.

I tried every aglorythms from FL, they sounds too "hollow" :(
Tried too in Audacity, sounds kind of nice, but the beats/kicks are kind of "eaten" (like losing their punch).
Gonna try in Cubase. :p

EDIT: Cubase works great :D
