How can i make this clearer

Snippet from my chorus but it sounds too muddy/unclear

Yes theres some sidechain in there & ive tried equing but not much luck

Actually I don't think it sounds muddy...listening on a notebook with crappy headphones though

to make sounds clearer you can always use an "exciter"...it basically distorts only the high frequencies, so they are more present
also, I think it would help to make the lead wider to differ it from the kick a little more
and i wouldn't use sidechaining here, as I thinks it makes the whole arrangement seem a little overdriven

How would you suggest I make the lead wider? And yeh I got rid of the sidechain, it sounds better

well, that depends on the software you make your lead with...in sylenth1 you have a knob called "stereo" for each osc...otherwise you can use other stereo-widener-effects like f.e. Voxengo Stereo Touch (never used it myself)
but making the lead wider won't effect the clearance of the kick much

i think making just the punch of the kick a little louder could help...otherwise i really like the kick as it is right now!

The chorus in this song ( 1:30) sounds much more clearer than mine and you can hear it clearly and the lead together :/

or just a good chorus vsti, depends on what are u using imo.
Try a Stereo Chorus plugin and set it up right should work.
+ ur lead sounds too sharp .

Thanks for feedback, apart from stereo enhancer and EQ is there anyway I can make my kicks+lead clearer?

there was a topic about compression on lead u could try it if u know how to make it right.
