Post by ceero »

So there's been an announcment about the new album today. It's called living things it it's out due 25th june.

As a huge fan of nu-metal and someone who grew up on Hybrid Theory and Meteora i really hope this wont suck as incredibly much as A Thousand Suns. I understand they are developing musically and personally, but i just really dont like the direction they took with the last album.

Here is the first single, to my dissapointment the same wannabe alternative hipster crap like ATS :( Will defo give a shot to the whole thing once it's out though

This new single sounds very much like latest Maroon5 album. Can't say that i like it. I'll listen new album when will out but i don't expect anything mindblowing.

Sounding pretty cool, but not what I'd expect from Linkin Park indeed.
Gimme back that old sound, metal/hiphop combo was epic in that time!

Same as ceero, Hybrid Theory, Reanimation, Meteora were all master pieces. But after it it went down with them. Sure MTM and ATS had some good tracks, but they aren't ever close to the first albums. I doubt it will turn out good as Chester can not scream anymore in the tracks cause of an issue with his throat. :(

i think there's nothing wrong with the thousand suns album. they wanted to improve, they wanted to change. they outgrew the nu-metal stuff, that's it.

@burn it down: pretty good, i like it.

Sure I give them a lot credit for that, but that is not what I want from them and I think I can speak for all lot of other fans as well. :)

This...
I don't need gay breaks and a big song with a buildup and lights and smoke...
Fuck all that!
