Soundcloud doesn't really lower the quality that much ...

partially you're right, crunch and overall sound are saved, but the bass sounds waay deeper on my monitors in source .wav file...

@JensJacobsen: to much uncontrolled distortion in my opinion. but the style fits the track.

Phadez: You need a little bit more highs in the kicks. The punch it self needs alot more distortion to get that clap/tok/punch thing going on. If i were you i would try to do a bandpass eq and dist it and then layer it.

Pavilion: The punch it self sounds like its pitched a little bit to low, maybe try to cut it from the tail and work on the punch? you have enough bass to kill and elephant so there is no need to add bass. Just refine the punch.

Jens: Its a little bit to Fluffy (i know, but its the best way i can describe it). And there is something in the tail im not that super excited about.

But i kind of like it in an odd way. Works in the song i guess.

@SourceOfDistortion ~ Love your crunchy kicks, sounds so awesome, tok comes nicely through the mix, which is something big producers lack.

Here is my old kick, was really tired of it, but since i tweaked it and got it to pitch well, i really like it myself.

Your kick isnt even close to the NC kick. You probably need another layer with that supercrunch they have. Their kick feels like if you slammed your fist into a table and dug your knuckles into the wood.
You should check if the kick is in key, sounds a little bit false. But im not the one who should critisize on pitching.

I usually dont crit on the leads or other than the kick, but that lead in the beginning must go. Scredding my ears. Im saying the same to you as i told The inverters. It sounds a wee bit false. If you are sure that the kick is in key from the beginning its way easier to pitch it later.

Something new, wanted a more calmer kick.
