@SourceOfDistortion Sounds pretty good to me! Sound design is really good
@paahhh Melody sounds good but lead needs more mids
Start of a new cheese project

It might be my headphones, but i would like a little bit more highs in that kick.
I know you use the eks-9 eq,dist,eq,dist method. What i found out using that is that the tock usually really needs alot of work. I mostly doubled the tock to get it as loud as i wanted. The kick is pritty badass otherwise.
I love the melody, cheeze is good sometimes hehe.
First i made a few fx, then i started to make a new screech aaaaand then a new kick. Might be a new song.
I get a little bit to excited sometimes, a little bit to much shit going on.

Oh, and i always make my songs really low in volume. More headroom for the final mix and master.
Well, its a theory.

You should always take the time to experiment with kicks and leads too! don't just keep them as 1 layer + 1 layer = 2 layer.
TIP :: Parallel Compression does wonders

Blacklite: Explain more, im all ears, or eyes.
Manster: The first screech needs a little bit of work. The hardest thing with the new screeches is that there need to be a rhythm to it, a rhytm that is not boring but not to random. Something that brings a little bit of a groove to a genre that is super static otherwise. It feels a little bit random tbh.

I made this kick using Hydra and by splitting the sound into different channelsSourceOfDistortion wrote:It might be my headphones, but i would like a little bit more highs in that kick.

Your new one sounds great again!
Parallel Compression // aka \ \ New York Compression -
Is a form of upward compression that basically gives your sound a less dyanmic range, but with doing this on sounds like for example : a lead , a snare etc
You get a fatter , thicker sound and can tweak to alter the style of sound you get without leaving it messy or crunched up into a wet fart like if you overcompress or limit it.
How to do it ::
1:
Set mixer track 1 to have submix to mixer track 2
Send lead to mixer track 1
compress upwardly on mixer track 2
you can also EQ these channels seperately and get an overall sound since you have 2 layers that are being affected by only 1original layer so you can do this 3-4 times to get a nice sounding lead without overloading your CPU too.
Make sure that you don't overdo it though, as when you play your lead with other instruments, the more layers of compressed sound you have the more space it takes within the mix, so be very delicate when it comes to this method.. I have made an example of what It can do
1st lead :: Without any Parallel Compression
2nd lead :: with 2 layers of parallel compression and slight reverb alteration.

It is worth downloading to hear the difference!
